I know exactly how difficult it can be to run your I know exactly how difficult it can be to run your own business. Business owners have a ton of responsibility and there are things that we either don't like to do or don't have time to do (or both).

There are never enough hours in the day, so we use our time to do the things that we feel are most important or the things that actually bring us joy. Social media is not that thing for A LOT of people.

We love taking social media off of people's hands so that they can focus on the things they love to do.

For instance, Ashleigh is a watercolor artist. She wants to paint (which she does amazingly by the way!). She appreciates the importance of social media marketing but doesn't have the time or desire to do it herself. Outsourcing her social media has given her more time to create art, and dedicate time to growing other aspects of her business.

I get so much joy out of knowing that I am helping another entrepreneur grow their business! 💕

Think you have good content but not getting sales Think you have good content but not getting sales or booking clients?

An effective content strategy is far more than making “good content”.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Define your goals – This step is crucial. Without goals your content has no purpose. Where are you driving people? What do you want to accomplish? Your content should always align with your goals.

2. Know your audience – Who does your target audience consist of? What are their demographics? If you do not know who you are speaking to, your content can’t connect with them.

3. Create valuable content – Knowing your audience is key here. You can now create content that they will find useful. Answer frequently asked questions. Provide tips and tricks. Creating valuable content builds the like, know, trust factor and will lead to a higher conversion rate.

4. Measure your growth and analyze results – Revisit your content to see how it performed. If it performed well, reuse it. If it didn’t, figure out why and take a different approach.

5. Choose relevant platforms – Knowing your audience will help you identify which platforms to use. You aren’t going to market on Pinterest which is over 77% female if you have a mostly male audience.

6. Research your competition – There’s nothing wrong with seeing what is working for your competitors and using that as inspiration. Never copy them, but using social media to stay on top of current trends in your industry is wise.

An effective marketing strategy needs to be revisited regularly as your goals will change, your audience may widen, and your content will perform differently.

REMINDER: Preplan and batch your content. Why? It REMINDER: Preplan and batch your content.

Why? It saves time, your content is more consistent and cohesive...just to name a few reasons.

Do you often struggle coming up with content ideas?

Download our FREE May Social Media Calendar to spark✨ your inspiration and jump-start your planning! LINK IN BIO.

The calendar includes monthly, weekly, and daily observances in May.

How is this helpful?

I start with a blank calendar and fill in social media holidays and awareness days that are applicable to my business and audience.

From there you can plug in other topics that you want to share.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your content:

-Use your hashtags. Awareness days and holidays usually have a dedicated hashtag, use it to amplify your reach!

-Don't place all of your focus on pitching your products and services. Make sure that you are also providing MORE value.

-Work smarter, not harder. Batch your content!

What are you looking forward to the most in May?

🚨 Instagram Update Alert 🚨 Did you know tha 🚨 Instagram Update Alert 🚨

Did you know that you can now use 30 characters in IG Profile names?

IG bios are pretty limiting, so I am a fan of the extra space.

Instead of just listing your name or the name of your business, this can now be used as prime real estate to improve the searchability of your profile AND attract/speak to your target audience.

Here are a few tips to use when making updates:
🔸Be specific. vague or broad words will not improve searchability.

🔸Include keywords to elaborate on what you do, who you help and where you're located.

🔸Use words that are relevant to your industry and/or niche.

What do you think of this update? Do you plan to update your profile name?
